SESAME University aims for its engineers and managers to position themselves as leaders across various sectors and to fully seize the opportunities offered by the job market. For this reason, and convinced that beyond technical skills, the development of an individual’s personality and the acquisition of social skills are key factors in achieving this goal, SESAME University encourages its students to engage in cultural and associative activities.
Its campus, already dedicated to this type of activity, enables students to express themselves in different ways and to acquire essential qualities for successful integration into the professional world.
The Building
The SESAME University building is a new facility designed to welcome students, staff, and partners in a unique environment that combines comfort, conviviality, and technology. It consists of four floors organized around a central axis: the Atrium, a true meeting and exchange space, illuminated by a domed skylight inspired by the pure Arab-Muslim architectural tradition.
The two large lecture halls, with seating capacities of 250 and 120 respectively, are designed to host guest speakers during scientific and cultural events, conferences, discussion panels, and more.
The 8,000 m² that make up the SESAME campus are located within the Elgazala Technology Park. The School thus benefits from being in direct proximity to more than a hundred companies and global groups in the communications sector, creating a highly productive synergy.
Work Environment
SESAME University is built upon a high-tech working environment. The new building is a pioneer in the latest technologies, evidenced by its high-speed connectivity and fiber-optic Internet access, as well as the solar panels that ensure environmentally friendly energy management.
The University is also equipped with a state-of-the-art IT resource platform (data center) that uses the most advanced concepts in virtualization and cloud computing. This allows students to become familiar with the systems and equipment toward which companies are increasingly migrating.
All this hardware and software infrastructure—available to students 24/7 and remotely accessible—promotes collaborative work and interactivity between students and faculty, as well as among the students themselves.
The laboratory classrooms are also fitted with specialized equipment tailored to the needs of each program. To ensure a convivial and interactive learning environment, SESAME has chosen to design small-sized classrooms. A media library and a reading library are also available to students, faculty, and researchers.
Cultural and Community Space
SESAME University offers its students a cultural and community living space that allows them to grow in different ways and acquire essential qualities for successful integration into the professional world. Examples include the cybercafé, which enables students to balance work, relaxation, conviviality, and well-being; the Wi-Fi network available throughout the building; the refreshment area; and various spaces dedicated to cultural or student association activities.

AUDITORIUM
The new auditorium of the Higher School of Applied Sciences and Management “SESAME” once again showcases the harmony between tradition and technology, further enhancing the institution’s unique setting.
The auditorium, with a capacity of 240 guests, is equipped with cutting-edge technologies. It is built according to precise acoustic standards and fitted with the latest sound and image control systems.
In addition to a dedicated videoconferencing system, a 3D cinema screen allows you to experience visual creations in an exceptional way.
Because new technologies do not rule out tradition, special attention has been given to the décor. The combination of noble materials and arabesque ornaments creates a pleasant atmosphere for both speakers and their audience.
