International Cooperation

International Cooperation

For an engineering and management school, international exposure is often considered one of the three essential missions—alongside education and research & development.

In this spirit, SESAME has established several partnerships with prestigious French universities and institutions, including:

  • Télécom SudParis (TSP – Paris), ESIGELEC (Rouen), CY TECH (formerly EISTI – Paris and Pau) for engineering students

  • CNAM Paris for management students

SESAME’s pursuit of new international partnerships has recently led to a new agreement with the prestigious Oakland University in Michigan, with additional collaborations currently under consideration.

These partnerships aim primarily to offer students international experience and a diversification of their academic pathways. For SESAME, they provide a way to align with international standards and best practices, and to gain de facto international recognition.

For Engineering Students

These partnerships serve various purposes, including student mobility and academic integration (with or without a double degree).

Mobility allows an engineering student to complete semester 9 at a partner engineering school while remaining enrolled at SESAME. The academic credits obtained during this semester are fully recognized by SESAME. Once the final-year project (PFE) is completed, the student receives the SESAME engineering degree.

Partner engineering schools that have already welcomed SESAME students on mobility programs include TSP, ESIGELEC, CY TECH, and Oakland University.

Integration allows a SESAME engineering student to transfer—within the framework of a partnership—to become a student at a partner school. The partner school validates the student’s academic progress at SESAME and allows them to continue their studies within its institution. Integration can occur in several scenarios:

– A student who has validated the 4th year of engineering at SESAME enrolls in the 3rd year of engineering at the partner school. After two years of study at the partner institution, the student obtains a double degree: the degree from the partner school and the degree from SESAME. Such integration has already been implemented with TSP and CY TECH.

– A student who has validated the 2nd year of engineering at SESAME enrolls in the 3rd year of engineering at the partner school. After three years of study at that institution, the student obtains only the partner school’s degree. This type of integration has already been carried out with ESIGELEC.

For Management Students

The partnership established with CNAM Paris offers two pathways:

• Master’s Program (M1 + 1)
In this pathway, students who have validated their first year of the Master’s program in Management at SESAME join CNAM to complete their second Master’s year. At the end of this year, they obtain only the CNAM degree.

• Bachelor’s Program (L2 + 1)
In this pathway, students who have validated their second year of the bachelor’s program in Management at SESAME join CNAM to complete their third year of the Management bachelor’s degree. After this year, they receive a double degree: the SESAME bachelor’s degree and the CNAM bachelor’s degree.

Partnership with EDC Paris Business School

The partnership with EDC Paris Business School allows SESAME students to continue their studies in Paris as follows:

Pathway 1:

M1 Management at SESAME → M2 Management at EDC

SESAME students who have validated their first year of the Master’s program in Management (M1) may enroll in the second year (M2) at EDC Paris Business School and obtain a Master’s degree from EDC’s Grande École Program.

Each candidate recommended by SESAME to EDC PBS may choose two M2 programs offered at EDC.

The Grande École Program (PGE) offers the following master’s specializations:

  • Master in Finance

  • Master in International Business

  • Master in Innovation & Entrepreneurship

  • Master in Strategic Supply Chain Management & Sustainability

  • Master in Data Science & Business Analysis

  • Master in Management & Information System Consulting

Pathway 2:

L2 Management at SESAME → 3rd Year Bachelor at EDC

SESAME students who have validated their second year of the Bachelor’s program in Management (L2) may enroll in the third year of the Bachelor’s program at EDC, and obtain the EDC Bachelor’s degree.

Each candidate recommended by SESAME to EDC PBS may select three available Bachelor’s programs at EDC:

  • Bachelor in Luxury Business

  • Bachelor in International Business Development

  • Bachelor in Sports Business

Partnership with the University of Michigan – Flint

Our partnership with the University of Michigan – Flint offers students enrolled in the Master’s program in Digital Transformation and ERP Management the opportunity to obtain a double degree by completing their first Master’s year (M1) at SESAME and their second Master’s year (M2) at the University of Michigan – Flint.
