As part of the Introduction to Research module, our final-year Software Engineering students had the opportunity to visit Actia Tunisia, a key player in innovation. This educational visit allowed them to explore Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) activities, interact with the teams at the Actia Innovation Lab, and learn about the ecosystem of incubated startups. They gained insights into how a technological idea progresses to a high Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and how it is then protected through intellectual property via patent filing.
This enriching experience gave our future engineers a close-up view of technological challenges and the innovative solutions developed by a leading company in its field.
