Computer Engineering Program at SESAME
The objective of the Computer Engineering Program is to train engineers with the qualities most sought after by companies—combining strong technical expertise with human skills, a spirit of innovation, open-mindedness and critical thinking, as well as a taste for teamwork and personal initiative. All of this is further reinforced by managerial capabilities and an international outlook.
The Sesame Computer Engineering Program is accessible through several pathways, as illustrated in the diagram below.

The Computer Engineering degree is accessible through several pathways:
• After obtaining a scientific high-school diploma (Bac):
Students follow a 5-year curriculum consisting of two years in the first cycle (the integrated preparatory cycle), known as the “Common Core,” followed by three years leading to the Computer Engineering degree.
Admissions into the preparatory cycle are also possible for candidates who have successfully completed the first year of another engineering preparatory program.
• After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent diploma, or by passing the engineering school entrance exam:
Candidates may be admitted directly into the engineering track for a 3-year curriculum.
Admission into the 4th year of the engineering program is possible for candidates who have successfully completed a Master 1 (M1) or an equivalent level.
